  • Executive Producer - Web Video Social Strategy at Gameday Rivals

    Provided new media augmentation to traditional broadcast TV show - fan-based Gameday Rivals on Fox SW has conducted a search throughout the Fall Big 12 football season for Bud Light's "The Ultimate Tailgater". Ross defined the new media strategy, launching a website with social video and voting, as well as micro-sites on YouTube, MySpace and Facebook. This long-tail extension of nearly 50 show segments, as well as encouragement of viewers & contestants voting for favorite tailgaters, yielded over 3 million hits, plus over 50,000 video views and votes during the Fall football season.

  • Senior Vice President and CIO at Safeguard Business Systems

    As CIO and a senior executive reporting to the CEO, Ross directed all technology and customer service functions totaling 130 employees in 6 North American locations. Directed 2 out of 6 strategic initiatives to reposition Safeguard from a product, manufacturing company to a $165 million market-driven sales and marketing channel to the small business marketplace. While CIO, Ross oversaw a company-wide AS400 conversion, implemented technology enabling sales and marketing automation, call center consolidations, customer self-service and reorder capabilities through unique, local distributor websites and order automation from distributors to Safeguard print operations and 100+ industry suppliers.

  • Vice President of Marketing at Safeguard Business Systems

    After performing in 5 sales and marketing positions over five years, Ross co-authored and directed Safeguard's 1995 long-term strategic plan to transition to a market-driven company, relocating headquarters from Philadelphia to Dallas, hiring and and providing orientation to 50+ new senior staff. While co-leading company-wide change, Ross served as SVP Marketing directed 33 staff positions, outside agencies and strategic alliances for product management, bank & software referral programs, marketing communications, market research and new product development.
